In mid-1998, a satchel of photos and other souvenirs was found in a makeshift
vault -- an empty wooden Yukon Jack case -- behind the Sex Shack (adjacent
to
Vomit Corner) in the basement of the College Pub in Whitewater,
Wis. According to the recollection of the bar's owner, Don Youngman,
the band members left the
items behind after they needed to sleep over
at the Pub due to mechanical problems with their tour vehicle. Specifically,
everyone was too drunk to figure out
how to fit the keys into the ignition.

The recently uncovered photos and press clippings provide the only known history of the most famous unknown
musical group of the late 1970s-early
1980s. The enigmatic band drew dozens, then hundreds, then thousands
of fans to its shows. However, all that is certain about the group's origin is that it
formed in 1979 in the southern
Wisconsin-northern Illinois area.

The band sold CDs at its early shows, which proved unprofitable
since the home CD player had not yet been invented. A precious few
of these CDs exist
today, mostly in the hands of overseas collectors.
