To anyone on the outside, the identity
of Phred Phlegm and the Spit-Tunes
members remains an impossible
secret. For one thing, the band seemed
to change
members from month
to month, especially in the early
years. The nucleus eventually stabilized,
although side members (sax players,
trumpet players, female
singers)
kept coming and going with regularity.
Many were seen once and never
heard from again. On the following
pages is a roster listing some -- although,
by all
means, not all -- of the members
of Phred Phlegm and the Spit-Tunes.
Names have been culled from fan
recollections, bootleg tapes, concubines,
written
reviews and CD liner notes.
